The 9 litre discharge time of between 40-50 seconds and the 6 litre discharge time of between 25-35 seconds, plus the long range, makes both extinguishers effective and user friendly even for the inexperienced operator.

Our Premium Range Amerex water mist fire extinguisher (Model 272) contains 9 litres of deionised water and discharges a fine water mist which is the ultimate fire extinguisher for Class A fires, especially wherea potential electrical hazard exists.
The fine spray from the unique misting nozzle provides safety from electrical shock, greatly enhances the cooling and soaking characteristics of the media and reduces the scattering of burning material. Unequivocally the best water fire extinguishers for hospital environments, telecommunications facilities and ‘clean room’ manufacturing facilities.

This Premium Range Amerex 9 litre water-plus additive extinguisher (Model 249) utilises a stainless steel body with heavy duty chrome plated brass valves and stainless steel handles.
The discharge time of between 40-50 seconds makes it very effective for inexperienced operators to use on Class A fires.

Polished Water Fire Extinguisher - Premium Range
These Premium Range Amerex water fire extinguishers have an identical specification as the Kitemarked models with the exception that they come in polished stainless steel finish instead of a red painted finish.
These models, the 6 Litre (Model 246P) and the 9 Litre (Model 240P) water fire extinguishers are manufactured with a stainless steel body, fitted with heavy duty chrome plated brass valves and stainless steel handles.
These fire extinguishers are ideal in situations where aesthetics are of primary importance, such as Corporate Headquarters and main entrances.
